The sun has set and night is here
with darkness raising all our fears
The rain is pouring, the wind is cold
And there’s no one with a hand to hold
The hours seem to change and bend
It feels like it’ll never end
We never asked it to be this way
And we’ve all begun to lose our way
But a light up ahead
can be seen from far away
And our voices fill the air…
We’ll carry on (We’ll carry on)
We’ll carry on (We’ll carry on)
As we wait until the end of the night
We’ll sing along (We’ll sing along)
We’ll sing along (We’ll sing along)
With a candle and a glimmer of light
We pass our words into the sound
And light the candles all around
Each feeling piling upon itself
With the things our hearts all have to tell
The lights that spread across the land
All multiply like grains of sand
They bloom with all of our thoughts and love
As they pour into the sky above
And to you, with a light
from a distance far away
We devote to you this prayer
We’ll carry on (We’ll carry on)
We’ll carry on (We’ll carry on)
As we wait until the end of the night
We’ll sing along (We’ll sing along)
We’ll sing along (We’ll sing along)
With a candle and a glimmer of light
We’ll carry on (We’ll carry on)
We’ll carry on (We’ll carry on)
As we wait until the sun comes again
We’ll sing along (We’ll sing along)
We’ll sing along (We’ll sing along)
To the song of all our loves and friends
We’ll carry on (We’ll carry on)
We’ll carry on (We’ll carry on)
We push on and on beyond the end

Circus is a music machine who's put out tons of amazing tracks since 715, but this is still my favourite of his albums by far. I still don't know how he got Len's English to sound so emotional and powerful on Poltergeist, but on that and every track Circus showcases why he is the king of English vocalsynth tuning wondersmith_39
