I was dumb, being so in love with you.
Messaging, trying to make you notice me.
You were cheating behind my back lying to my face.
Playing me like some card in your deck, but then I found out.
(I was hurt, and broken.)
Letting you do that to me,
breaking my heart to pieces.
I don't care what you think of me.
Working on my self worth and trying to get to a good place.
This is how you hurt me,
and how I will heal from your poison.
You had me believing I was your only one.
Making me waste my time and energy on you.
I haven't slept well in days thinking about what you've done.
Feeling worthless, hopeless, when I look in the mirror.
The deep scars you left;
the guilt you set into my heart.
I cry out.
With the burning taste of alcohol, holding on to me.
once all of this has passed I'll be free.
I'll be free!
This weight that's been over me.
I force the thought of you away, It's affecting my daily life.
Can somebody set me free?
Take me to a better place and feeling.
I was there for you.
Now I know not to waste my time.
Letting the hurt pass, moving on with my life.
(I’ll make sure that happens)
You had me believing I was your only one.
I wasted all my time and energy on you.

A really beautiful album. I've been listening to this album a lot since it was released both here and on Spotify and even among other musicians of this genre, there's something that screams Lystrialle that has me coming back to it every time. VocAddict

Circus is a music machine who's put out tons of amazing tracks since 715, but this is still my favourite of his albums by far. I still don't know how he got Len's English to sound so emotional and powerful on Poltergeist, but on that and every track Circus showcases why he is the king of English vocalsynth tuning wondersmith_39
